Chris Magher lives in North Carolina doing graphic design in the shadow of his "normal" job at the Winston-Salem Journal.

At the age of 17, Chris was handed a once in a lifetime oppurtunity to work with several of the comicbook industries leading artists and even meet some of his idols, all whilst gaining a wealth of knowledge, and understanding within the field of Comicbook illustration.

In 1998, Chris attended Savannah College of Art and Design with the help of his mentors from Artemus Studios. Upon returning to North Carolina with his tail betwix his legs for lack of funds, he was welcomed back into the open arms of family, friends, and Artemus.
